Joy Rudisill is the Charlotte-Metro hair specialist for curly cuts and color, serving women from all over the Carolinas. Using the dry-cut method to carefully snip curl by curl, she understands the personality of curly hair to bring out its unique and natural shape. She originally received her training at the Devachan Salon in NYC and has the distinction of being the first North Carolina curl stylist to be certified with Deva Curl.
In the 12 years since receiving her training Joy has been working exclusively with curls and waves. She believes that the philosophy behind taking care of curly hair is simple: keep hair hydrated with water and water-soluble products.
Joy's passion is to make curly hair simple, fuss-free, and to help girls embrace the beauty of their hair. Not only does she provide hair cuts and styling, she specializes in helping curly and waves girls find their best hair, and has helped many a curly girl through the learning curve of how to make their hair vibrant, healthy and fabulous, just the way it is.
In her spare time Joy is a yoga and hiking enthusiast and enjoys spending time with her children and grandson.
